XLN Audio provides a separate installer for Addictive Drums at www.xlnaudio.com/install. To access the installer, you will need your Addictive Drums Product Key.If you have installed Addictive Drums 2 prior to installing SONAR or any other Cakewalk software installed, it may have installed to a different directory, such as C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins, instead of the standard directory of C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins. We recommend running a Windows search on your computer for Addictive Drums 2.dll to locate where the plug-in component is installed.When the plug-in location has been found, you can add this custom path to SONAR's VST Scan Paths list under Edit > Preferences > File - VST Settings. Click the Scan button so SONAR will scan this new directory for the addition of Addictive Drums 2.

Note - Using Offline Help
Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.
If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
