If you are running Windows 7, or Windows 8 you may receive the message “You are not logged in as Administrator” when trying to enter your registration code. This will prevent you from typing in your code. To resolve this, do the following:
1. Right-click the Music Creator shortcut on the Windows desktop, and select Run as Administrator on the pop-up menu.
2. If prompted with a message “Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?”, click Yes.
3. Enter your registration code and click Complete.If you do not yet have a registration code, please go to www.cakewalk.com/Register to register your product with us, and we will send you the registration code.

Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.
If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
