By default, Sonar shows a message if an audio or MIDI device is connected/disconnected during a session. Sonar will offer to add the devices, or reroute outputs to an available device. These notifications can be enabled/disabled by selecting Show Audio/MIDI Device Change Notifications under Edit > Preferences > Customization - Display.

Note - Using Offline Help
Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.
If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
