1. In the Track view, make a time selection to select the range that you want to export, or clear the selection (Edit > Select > None) to export the entire project.
2. Choose File > Export > Standard MIDI File to open the Save Copy dialog box. The project must contain MIDI data to make the command available.
4. Type a name for the clip in the File Name field.
5. Under Save as type, select the desired MIDI file format:
MIDI Format 0. Standard MIDI File that has all channels merged into one track.
MIDI Format 1. Standard MIDI File that keeps each channel on a separate track.
Riff MIDI Format 0. Riff MIDI File of Format 0.
Riff MIDI Format 1. Riff MIDI File of Format 1.
6. Click the Save button.
