Exporting tracks with no selection

If the Source Category is Tracks when you bounce or export audio with no selection in, each wave file will be exactly the same duration as the original source track.

 

Note: When the export Source Category is Tracks, the project selection has a special meaning: 4 Having a project selection means that there is a time selection. If tracks are selected in the project, then all the tracks selected in the Sources list will be exported at exactly the length of the selection. All exported files will be the same duration. 4 If there is no selection, then no specific export time range has been set, and the duration of each tracks’ audio file will be the length of each individual track.

To export multiple tracks with their original duration

1.	In the Track view, make sure there is no selection (go to Edit > Select > None).

2.	Choose File > Export > Audio to open the Export Audio dialog box.

3.	Under Range, confirm that Entire Project is selected.

4.	Under Filename and Location, enter a filename and select a destination folder.

To use the original track names as the exported file names, use the {trackname} filename tag.

5.	Under What to Export, click Source Category and select Tracks.

6.	Under Format, select the desired file format from the File Type drop-down list:

7.	Under Mix and Render, select the elements you want to include in the export.

8.	If you want to save the settings you created in the Export Audio dialog box, type a name in the Preset box, then press ENTER or click the Create Preset button .

9.	Click Export.

To export multiple tracks with the same duration

1.	In the Track view, make a time selection to select the range that you want to export.

2.	Choose File > Export > Audio to open the Export Audio dialog box.

3.	Under Range, confirm that Time Selection is selected, and the Start and End locations are correct.

4.	Under Filename and Location, enter a filename and select a destination folder.

To use the original track names as the exported file names, use the {trackname} filename tag.

5.	Under What to Export, click Source Category and select Tracks.

6.	Under Format, select the desired file format from the File Type drop-down list:

7.	Under Mix and Render, select the elements you want to include in the export.

8.	If you want to save the settings you created in the Export Audio dialog box, type a name in the Preset box, then press ENTER or click the Create Preset button .

9.	Click Export.
