The Music Creator Quick Start dialog box appears when you launch Music Creator (unless you disable this option, see Show this at Startup check box). It allows you to open any of a long list of templates, and open recent projects and introductory help topics. You can open this dialog box whenever you want by using the Help > Quick Start command.The Music Creator Quick Start dialog box has the following fields:Click the Watch Video Tutorials to launch the online Music Creator video page in your default Web browser.By default, demo projects are installed to C:\Cakewalk Content\Music Creator 7\Demo Projects.Clicking this button opens the New Project File dialog box, which displays a list of templates for new projects. Select the one you want to open, and click OK.Clicking this button is the same as using the File > Open command. The Open dialog box appears, displaying the contents of your Music Creator project folder. Select the project you want to open, and click OK.Select the topic you want to learn more about, then click the Help button. If nothing is selected, the button opens the Getting started topic in the online Help. The list contains links to topics in the online Help and content on www.cakewalk.com.If you clear this check box, the Music Creator Quick Start dialog box appears only when you use the Help > Quick Start command.

Tip: To search for a specific topic, type your search query in the Search Cakewalk.com field at the top right of this page.
When the search results appear, click which product's documentation you would like to search to filter the search results further.
Note - Using Offline Help
Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.
If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
