The default max Media Browser preview duration is 5 minutes (300,000 milliseconds). You can specify the max preview duration with the MaxPreviewMsec variable in Aud.ini.

3. In Aud.ini, add a new entry called MaxPreviewMsec in the [Wave] section, and set its value to the max desired preview duration (in milliseconds). For example:

Note: If there are no synths in the project, go to Insert > Soft Synths and insert the desired soft synth.
