AudioSnap (Producer and Studio only)General editing ► Snapping edits to audio beats

The Snap module in the Control Bar has a Snap to Audio Transients button that allows you to snap edits in the Clips pane to transient markers in selected audio clips.
Note: If events do not appear to snap to audio transients, go to Edit > Preferences > Customization - Snap to Grid (or right-click the Snap to Grid button ) and make sure the Audio Transients check box is selected under Landmarks.

Disable Musical Time and all other Snap to Grid options.

In this example, we’re using the Inline Piano Roll view: to enable it, assign a MIDI track’s Edit Filter to Notes. Zoom in enough to see where the edits need to be. Make sure the Landmark Events button is enabled in the Control Bar’s Snap module.
